🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 for your space, your mind and your soul 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Your home is a representation of your mind, body and spirit. In many ways, there is a connection between all of these energies. When your environment feels good, it helps you to feel good and just the same, when you feel good within, that is also reflected in your environment. Spring cleaning is a great ritual to clear clutter, dust and grime from your home. But cleansing the energy in your body can be just as satisfying, with some really transformational benefits.

There is energy in everything, from the flowers blooming outside your window to the beating heart within your chest. This is called Qi or your energy body.

You may not realize it, but your energy body can pick up the energy of everyone you encounter throughout the day. This energy can be heavy to hold and can create an imbalance in the flow of Ki throughout the body.  This is especially true if you have been dealing with heavy energies, or if you have been feeling stuck and stagnant in your life.

If you want to create a new environment for yourself, if you want to create new energy in your life, one way to invite this in is to start with the space that you live in.

Here is how to energetically cleanse your soul in order to welcome in new energy.

  1. DECLUTTTER YOUR HOME + OFFICE

You can’t energetically cleanse your space until you have physically cleaned it. Go into every room in your house and start removing items that you no longer need or that are no longer aligned with your vision. Make a donation pile, a gifting pile and a toss pile. Thank everything and release. Feels so good to let g!p

2. ENERGETICALLY CLEANSE YOUR SPACES

Once your home is physically cleansed, it is time to do an energy cleansing. Use sage, palo santo or copal and start clockwise from your door. Open al windows and go through every corner. You can bless your home and ask that the cleansing smoke of the Palo Santo cleanse your space, raise the vibration and draw in positive energy. Try saying positive affirmations like “I remove stagnant energy and infuse this space with blessings“.

For an added bonus, place crystals in your home to invite a flow of positive, loving and healing energy into your home.

3. ADD NATURAL ELEMENTS

Bringing nature inside the home is a great way to evoke positive energy and to clear the energy of your home. Certain indoor plants have also been proven to work just like a natural air filter. Here are some of the best options when it comes to clearing the air in your home.

4. ADD SOME FENG SHUI

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese design art of bringing positive energy into the home. One of the simplest principles of Feng Shui is to balance the energy of earth, air, fire, water and metal in each room. Here are a few basic Feng Shui principles you can adopt-

  • In order to create a clear flow of energy, avoid having cluttered spaces and areas of the home that are cramped and crowded. Perhaps take a walk through your home and see if you can create a clear channel for positive energy to flow.

  • In watery rooms of the house like bathrooms, bring in more earthy elements such as plants, rocks and crystals

  • The bed should be positioned in the room so its diagonal to the door- you don’t want to sleep directly opposite the door and you don’t want to sleep next to the door

  • When decorating in your bedroom, try to create balance and symmetry on both sides of the bed

  • In the home office, your desk should be in the “power position” which is in direct view of the door- never sit with you back facing the door or with your head facing a wall

  • Try to bring as much natural light into the home as possible, especially in the family room and kitchen

  • Don’t keep items stored under the bed, this is said to block the flow of energy and can interrupt a good night of sleep

  • Furniture should be placed in a way so it does not restrict the passage or flow of energy through the room- if possible, people should sit with their backs to the wall

  • Sharp corners on tables are said to promote harsh energy, so choose rounded corners whenever possible

  • Do not keep broken items in the home, as they are believed to carry “broken” energy

  • Fix clogged drains, as a build up of water indicates that energy is not able to freely flow

  • Bathroom doors and toilet lids should be kept closed at night in order to promote the flow of positive energy

5. VISUALIZE YOUR AURA

Sit in a quiet, distraction-free zone in your house. Stay seated comfortably in a position you can relax in for about 15 minutes while practicing breathing exercises. Remain conscious of what you’re doing, and aware of your inhales and exhales. You can even meditate. Once you find yourself beginning to totally relax, form a white light in your mind and have it surround you. Allow it to flow throughout you, from the tips of your toes to the top of your head, and visualize it moving up and down your back, near your spine. If you get distracted or thrown off, you can get yourself back on track by re-visualizing the white light and focusing on your breath.

6. DISCARD YOUR NEGATIVE ENERGY

Avoid negative people or energy vampires. People affect more than just themselves, so be aware of how others affect your energy and vice versa. One way to protect yourself is to make sure you surround yourself with more positive people than negative ones. Spend less time time (or none at all) with negative people, once you figure who they are. Find positive people who always have a smile to offer and have kind souls. These people can help offset negativity in your aura.

7. CLEANSE YOUR OWN NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

Still have negative energy wafting around? Try looking inward. Start paying attention to your thoughts. Are there a lot of negative ones? Take a look at them. Are they untrue, delusional, or paranoid? All the more reason to chuck them out. Focus on the bright side of things. If you are having a really bad day, it’s okay to express your feelings, but don’t wallow in that place. Make your day a good one by treating yourself to your favorite tea. Play your favorite song. Find a friend to hang out with. If you notice that a negative thought is trying to creep in, confront it with a positive one. If you keep practicing this, you will be able to conquer the effects of negative thinking.

8. CREATE A PROTECTION BUBBLE

This is the most commonly practiced ways of protecting the aura. Practitioners praise it as a beautiful way to connect them to the divine energy, and when it’s done in the mornings, it’s a defining start to the day. Imagine white light coming down from the sky, divine, cosmos, universe, whatever higher power resonates with you. Connect this light to the crown of your head, and then let it spill out over you and down under your feet. You are now surrounded by a white light bubble. White is pure and highly protective. You are in control of what enters and exits your white bubble of protection.

9. GET ENERGY HEALINGS

Sometimes you just need a realignment: energy healings can help clean blockages blockages or balance misalignments. Healers also check for negative entities or emotional cords that may need to be cut. Don’t underestimate the power of these energy checkups. You might find that your mood swings and imbalanced emotions improve drastically with a little help.

10. SMUDGE YOUR AURA REGULARLY

Smudging is a Native American practice using white sage to cleanse any negative energy. You can cleanse your house, people and things. Try smudging after you’ve had a lot of people in your home or if you feel particularly drained. Focus your intention on clearing negative energy to allow room for positive energy in your space and life.

I will be back with more tips. Love you guys <3
